My name is Baxter I am a 1 year old Biewer Terrier. The most playful, lovable Yorkie boy you've ever met. I just love people, big or small, young or old, if they can give me hugs and cuddles and play with me, then I am so happy. I will bark from pure excitement. (Toddlers included)

But, I also bark if left all alone. You see, I have separation anxiety, and I don't like to be in a room on my own, infact, I prefer to sleep on a bed with my humans. I don't like it if you pop out to town without me, as I just love car rides. I am a very good travel buddy, I cuddle up in my basket and off we go. When the car stops, I jump up to peep out the window to see where we are.

I do not believe a Yorkie should be in a cage or a kennel, and even going to the groomers scares me, when they want to keep in a small confined area, I will bark to let them know of my frustration.

Due to my separation anxiety, I do tend to be very clingy, but tell me, what Yorkie isn't, that is just in our DNA, we demand constant love and attention. I will reward my family with lots of kisses.

Oh, I forgot to mention, I am fully housetrained, yip, I do not lift my leg in the house, that is for untrained dogs and I am a very well trained Yorkie boy. I also love to play with other dogs, once again I bark from pure joy of seeing another canine, and then once we have greeted each other, we play along very well.
Cats? No - I will bark and chase them, felines are not my favorite friends.
