Oreo is an incredibly tiny, 2.5kg male Yorkshire Terrier who is currently looking for a patient and loving forever home in Gauteng. At 7 years old, Oreo is a sweet, sensitive, and soft little boy who has found himself in need of a new family because his current owner circumstances has changed. This is an extremely urgent search for a special home that can give him the reassurance and care he truly deserves.
Oreo can be initially quite shy and nervous around new people. If he feels overwhelmed, he might seek comfort by hiding under the bed. However, once he feels safe and realizes he is in friendly company, his sweet personality shines through and he will eagerly come out to greet you. He is incredibly kind and gentle, and he absolutely loves companionship. He is also wonderful with other dogs, showing a playful and social side that makes him an excellent companion for another friendly doggy sibling.
While Oreo is a tiny sweetheart, he does have a few specific needs that his new family must be ready to manage. He is not housetrained , so he will need gentle, consistent guidance to learn a routine. Additionally, Oreo is a bit of an escape artist—he has even chewed through a plastic gate to get into the yard before! A highly secure home with robust fencing is an absolute must. He is pool-safe and actively avoids the pool at all costs.
