🐶 Meet Bonny – An Active Young Soft Soul Looking for His Safe Haven
Bonny is a gorgeous 1-year-old male Yorkie currently located in Witbank, Mpumalanga.
Bonny is an active, playful, and incredibly soft soul. He gets along beautifully with children and has done very well with other friendly dogs, including playing happily with other Yorkies. He is a gentle boy who only growls or defends himself when repeatedly pushed or grabbed by a jealous dog. Bonny has lived a very pampered life indoors, sleeping snugly on the bed with his human.
This active youngster will need a family committed to keeping up with his energy levels and giving him the love and attention he deserves. He enjoys being combed every second day, though he isn't a fan of bath time and will need a patient hand to help him stand still :) He is partially housetrained and will happily use the garden as his bathroom when a door is left open for him. Bonny is also known to let out a bark when people walk past, keeping a watchful eye on his surroundings.

Temperament: Very active, playful, sweet-natured, and a soft soul who loves sleeping on the bed.
Good with Dogs: Excellent. He gets along well with other friendly, playful dogs, though he may defend himself if repeatedly targeted by a highly dominant or jealous dog.
Good with Cats: Unknown.
Good with Children: Excellent.
Housetraining: Yes, he will go outside to do his business when the door is left open for him.
Health/Special Needs: Good health. Please note that Bonny is currently not sterilized; this will be a strict requirement of his adoption through SA Yorkie Rescue.
Ideal Home: An active, loving home where he is treated as a true member of the family and allowed to sleep on the bed. His new family must be committed to regular grooming (as he doesn't like baths and needs a patient routine) and ensuring he gets plenty of play and exercise. A home with another friendly, non-aggressive dog to play with would be wonderful!
