She is a beautiful 5-year-old, 3kg female Yorkshire Terrier currently located in Randgate, Randfontein. Her current owner is relocating to KwaZulu-Natal next week, which makes finding her a loving new home urgent. Bekkie is a true "Velcro dog" who absolutely thrives on human affection and loves nothing more than sleeping snugly under the blankets with her favorite person.
Despite her tiny size, Bekkie has a wonderful, confident, and feisty little personality. She loves playing with her toys and can sometimes act like the "queen of the castle," but always in the most endearing way. She is generally a quiet girl who isn't a big barker, is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is ready to slide right into a loving family environment. She is excellent with children and generally gets along well with other dogs, making her a versatile and wonderful addition to almost any home.
Bekkie is used to having a pool in her yard, but supervision is an absolute must as she has fallen in before. Though she can swim and make her way to the side, her new family must keep a very watchful eye on her around water. She is healthy, sterilized, and up to date on her vaccinations (though her vet card is currently packed away due to the move).
