Marmite is a social, happy-go-lucky boy who is absolutely obsessed with fetch. Whether it's a ball, a slipper, or anything else you throw, he will happily chase it all day long! He is also a bit of a cheeky character who loves to steal tissues for fun. When playtime is over, Marmite is a massive cuddle bug who wants nothing more than to curl up next to his humans.
Marmite is ready to embark on his own solo adventure. He will thrive in a high-energy home where he can be the center of attention or share his days with an active family who will keep his mind and body stimulated.
💖 Marmite's Personality and Needs
Age: 1 year and 6 months old
Temperament: Energetic, playful, affectionate, and full of life. He loves toys, fetch, and plenty of cuddles. He does have a cheeky side and can occasionally show resource guarding (growling/barking if another dog approaches while he is cuddling with his human).
Good with Dogs: Yes, but can be protective and resource-guard his humans.
Good with Cats: Yes, he was raised with cats, though he will occasionally chase them in play.
Good with Children: Excellent! He absolutely loves children and thrives on the extra attention and playtime they provide.
Housetraining: Mostly housetrained. He understands to go outside when prompted.
Health/Special Needs: Healthy and active. He is not yet sterilized (sterilization will be a strict condition of adoption). He has a vet card (currently in storage), and his vaccinations will need to be updated.
Ideal Home: An active, fun-loving home with a family who has plenty of time for walks, fetch, and basic training. A secure garden is required, and future owners must practice strict door and gate safety as Marmite can be a quick door-bolter if given the chance. Any swimming pools must be safely fenced.
