However, Bella is also a little adventurer at heart—and by adventurer, we mean she is a skilled escape artist! She has been known to slip through gates and test boundaries, so her new home must have highly secure fencing, secure gates, and a family who will keep a watchful eye on open doors. She also likes to alert you to cats or outside noises with a healthy, enthusiastic bark!
While Bella is a dream, she does require a patient owner who is willing to help her with her housetraining. Bella doesn't always signal when she needs to go outside, and simply opening the door for her isn't always enough. Instead, she needs to be physically guided and encouraged to go outside on a regular schedule. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, Bella will easily blossom into the perfect household companion.
