Trippel is a 14-year-old gentleman who defines the word "resilient." This brave little soul was fostered back to health after surviving a traumatic attack by a large dog. In his current, but temporary home, he was taught to walk again. Most importantly, he is living a life free of pain and is ready to find a quiet, permanent home where he can spend his golden years in peace.
Despite his past trauma, Trippel is an incredibly happy boy. He is a true "shadow dog" who loves nothing more than following his favorite person from room to room. He has a quirky, fun side too—he is a relentless hunter of geckos and lizards! While he might bark at things outside, he is very well-behaved and stops immediately when told to. He is a tiny boy, weighing only about 3kg, and is looking for a gentle environment that matches his sweet nature.
Trippel has a few specific needs for his retirement home. He does not climb onto beds and prefers to sleep on low sofas or, ideally, on continental pillows and mats on the floor. In his current home, he loves sleeping on a mat in the bedroom close to his humans. Please note: Trippel is NOT good with cats and will need a cat-free home. While he is generally house-trained, he does have the occasional accident, which may be related to his previous injuries, so an patient and understanding owner is a must for this senior Yorkie looking for a quiet home.
