Yorkie Rescue in Gauteng

ALREADY ADOPTED! Gauteng, Pretoria, Lynnwood Bella & Zoë  Yorkie sisters 6 Years of age. They are loyal Yorkshire Terriers that love attention & affection .  They love being somone's shadow . They are both very inquisitive & very alert.  They both like catching birds & lizards They are excellent guard dogs .   They enjoy being outdoors, but also to be with you all day.  They will sit or lie very close to where you are.  They prefer sleeping in your bed underneath the duvet than in their own beds.  They are excellent with children.  They might need some time to get used to other dogs. They are not good with cats. They have excellent health. They are house trained but occasionally they will "go" in the house normally  only on a specific place. 

ALREADY ADOPTED Gauteng, Randburg Tony   9 months old Tri colour Yorkie puppy.   He is loveable and adorable . Loves to travel in a car, and loves going for walks . Tony is healthy & very energetic. He can get very  yappy and whiny .   He does not like being left alone at home .  He might still need some help with house training. Does not like too much affection, but likes to settle close by where he can see you.

ALREADY ADOPTED PRETORIA, WOODHILL: Benji is a very special 8 year old boy who is a true survivor . He suffered a very traumatic event and loss that has left him hard of hearing and easily startled by loud or unexpected noises, but he fought to stay alive and regain some of his hearing. Benji is a very affectionate and cuddly boy who will give you all his attention.  Benji does well with other dogs but he has never been around cats before. He has always been very good with children, but now he finds small children stressful because of his hearing problem and trauma. Besides his hearing, he is in very good health . He needs his teeth checked from time to time.  Benji is fully housetrained . 

ALREADY ADOPTED Gauteng, Centurion  Tamali Is about 7 years of age. Tamali is a very sweet , curious & clever Yorkie. He is well trained & quick to listen . Tamali is friendly and playful , excellent with children.   He has been neutered. Tamali is house trained. He has excellent health. When Tamali was younger,  he was in an accident and had a skin graft. Tamali is e xcellent with other dogs. Tamali will bark at cats. 

ALREADY ADOPTED Gauteng, Randburg Neville  Is a  6 Year old Yorkie boy. He is a "people doggy". He is very verbal  & it sounds like he is saying hello  when you get home. He will never leave your side. He sits with you all day Neville loves his "scratchies" He loves sleeping on the bed and being with his human . Neville does not like load noises . He will hide . He is excellent with children.     He is excellent with other dogs.       He is not good with cats. He is neutered and has great health. He is house trained.

ALREADY ADOPTED Gauteng, Kempton Park: Lily is  9 years old but so full of life . She is an energetic and playful girl who loves brisk walks, but just loves your attention too. Her sidekick is the family cat Bella. Lily is the alpha but she is fiercely loyal , so if she likes another dog, they get on well. She also loyally protects Bella from other cats, who she will chase out the garden. Lily is really good with children. She is a vocal girl who will bark at things that seem out of place, so a  good watchdog . She is healthy, housetrained and leash trained , though she does pull you along sometimes. 

 ALREADY ADOPTED! Gauteng, Kempton Park Rocket Yorkie puppy 9 Months old. He loves cuddles and belly rubs , brushing and grooming . Rocket is excellent with children. Rocket is a very cute Yorkshire Terrier puppy. He is very obedient.  Rocket will  alarm  you if he hears or senses someone at the gate. He has excellent health. He is house trained.  Rocket is excellent with other dogs.  It is unknown how he would be with cats. 

 ALREADY ADOPTED Gauteng,   Northmead, Benoni T eddy Yorkie X  Dachshund. He is 2 Years of age. Teddy is very sweet and placid . He loves giving kisses and cuddles . Teddy  loves to play .  Teddy has never been around children.  He is excellent with other dogs.  He is not good with cats.

ALREADY ADOPTED! Gauteng, Meyerspark Olivia  Beautiful Cream Yorkie girl 9 Years of age. She is a happy lady. Olivia likes attention but enjoys her 'me' time in her bed, in the sun or where ever she can find a little hiding place.  She loves to explore.  She is sterilized. She has good health.  She is house trained. Olivia has a hernia on the tummy area but it does not bother her at all.  She tolerates children.  She is  excellent  with other dogs. She is  excellent  with cats. 

ALREADY ADOPTED Gauteng, Roodepoort EMERGENCY Teddy & Lindsay Need their new home(s) ASAP Teddy,  5 Year old Yorkie boy , is very friendly and loves kids. Lindsay,  4 Year old Yorkie girl , takes a bit of time, but will warm up.  She is a very sweet girl and likes attention. Both are in good health. They are house trained.  Teddy is good with female dogs. Lindsay is good with male dogs. They are not good with cats.
